PUBLICATIONS AND CONFERENCES

My articles have been published in the APG Quarterly, LIneage of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island (JGSLI), Rodziny of the Polish Genealogical Society of America (PGSA) and the Polish Eaglet of the Polish Genealogical Society of Michigan (PGSM).

In 2024 in the form of a presentations at the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society 50th Anniversary Celebration and Conference I told the story of my own search in the U.S. and Polish resources for my missing great-grandfather who emigrated to Pittsburgh, PA in the beginning of the 20th century and died there before he brought his wife and two daughters over.

I have authored 4 books in Polish: Practicing Genealogy, the Pieniążek family from Jedlińsk, 18th-19th century; Date of birth of Fryderyk Chopin, Evaluation of Sources, Analysis of Information, Conclusion; Genealogy and DNA, The Szaniawskis from Parznice, A Genealogy. They are intened to help research one’s own genealogies. I also publish my articles in periodicals of Polish genealogical societies and organizations including Parantele, a yearly of the Silesian Genealogical Society (Śląskie Towarzystwo Genealogiczne) as well as on my blog http://www.praktykowaniegenealogii.wordpress.com

EDUCATION

I hold a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University, Center for Professional Education.

I have master’s degree in Economic Geography completed at the Department of Geography and Regional Studies and a diploma of completion of postgraduate course in Warsaw Studies at the Department of History, both at the Warsaw University, Poland.

GENEALOGICAL ASSOCIATIONS I AM A MEMBER OF

I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) since 2009.

I am also a member of the Polskie Towarzystwo Genealogiczne (Polish Genealogical Society) in Poland.
